2nd DR Half Marathon Run - Nehru Park, Chanakyapuri

After a great first run of the Delhi Runners (DR) Half Marathon monthly series, its time to take the series forward to its second edition. People loved the great running track at Nehru Park, with its bits of ups and downs, and we would be having our second run at the same venue. In the 2nd edition, run on the road outside Nehru Park, and get some practice with on-road running too.

Starting point: Nehru Park, Chanakyapuri (Car Park opp. Pakistan Embassy, Niti Marg)

Date: Sunday, Sept 20th, 2009

Reporting time: 5:45 AM

Start Time: 6:00 AM

Parking and meeting point: Parking area opposite Pak Embassy on Niti Marg (see map below)

Loop distance and route: 2.85 KM

Even though the run is labeled as a Half Marathon series, runners can choose to run any distance, just remember that the loop is 2.85 KM, and calculate your run distance accordingly.

Instructions: Runners may bring their own water or energy drinks, same will also be available on the starting point as well as some refreshments. Runners can either leave their water bottles in parked cars  or with volunteers at the starting point.
